The Knox County Memorial Building includes a theater, multiple meeting rooms, intimate gathering space, a ballroom, and a utility kitchen — all with an atmosphere of traditional architecture and function. The square footage will provide space for large company announcements, business expos, entertainment, presentations, theatrical performances, reunions, weddings, parties, showers, educational seminars, political groups, clubs, celebration / performance and reception combinations. The 993 seat theater will provide technical staff when needed. It is a proscenium stage that also has a large projection screen, approximately 17 x 32, for use. This facility will serve and support success in many ways. As of June 1, 2017 there will be all new furnishings and fresh paint.
